My dog ate ace bandage 12 days ago. Should I worry with no symptoms?

Oh good. If he is not showing any signs of pain after 24 hrs has elapsed, then chances are he is fine. Continue to monitor Sam for signs of an intestinal obstruction (excessive vomiting- even water, severe abdominal pain; lack of appetite and vomiting) for an additional 24 hrs just to be certain that he's ok. Most symptoms however develop within the 1st 24 hrs, so so far so good. : )

I'd agree that this is definitely a concern. Many dogs eat bandages. Typically the material passes through normally but do monitor him closely for any GI distress - vomiting, reluctance to eat, diarrhea - that might indicate it's having trouble passing.

Trick did eat a good size piece of vet wrap! Hopefully, it will pass through without problem, but I would monitor him to be safe for signs of obstruction just in case. These signs include vomiting, diarrhea, anorexia, lethargy, and constipation. If you see any of those signs, I would take Trick into the vet right away. If he is a larger dog, it should pass without problem, but it's always good to observe him to be safe.

How naughty of Charlie to do that. It sounds like he may have vomited it all up, which would be the best case scenario here. Since he is still passing stool and eating well, it is ok to monitor him for the next 24 hrs to see how things pan out. Try offering him a bland diet of boiled plain chicken and rice or cottage cheese for the next few days, then slowly introduce his regular kibble back. If he continues to vomit, becomes lethargic, or has a loss of appetite then I would be concerned about a possible blockages and recommend he be seen. It could cause him some issues but there is no way to predict that. I suggest you just monitor him closely for any abnormal signs like vomiting, not wanting to eat, extreme lethargy, abdominal pain, etc. If you notice any of those then get him to your vet right away. He may get some diarrhea which would be expected from the steak but that should clear up on it's own. Hope this helps. Best wishes.

I would only worry if you see symptoms of a possible obstruction, which includes: excessive vomiting, lack of appetite, lethargy and few feces. If seen then its best to take him to your vet for a proper exam and testing to determine if the gloves are still inside. Hopefuly he continues to do well as it seems he has done so far.
