My dog got Advocate. How does it work? Can he bathe now?

I would wait 2 weeks prior to applying advocate which has a month retrospective action on lungworm ingestion. If you wish, you have it exchanged with a tablet for lungworm, I think your vet will probably exchange it for you without any problem. No worries about him getting wet, or bathing with this product. These oral products are not effected by bathing, or getting wet like the topical products are. He can be bathed at any time when he gets this product and it will still be effective. I hope that helps and all is well with Roscoe.

Yes K9 Advantix is a good product, I recommend it. You don’t need to bathe Noble first, just apply it. You will have to disinfect your home as well, fleas live in the environment not on the dog. I hope this helps!

Yes, you can! However, it is generally recommended that you bathe your dog before applying K9 Advantix II. You should also make sure you've dried your dog thoroughly before applying it. If you decide to bathe your dog in between treatments, I suggest you use of a general grooming shampoo for pets. Also, if you have cats, keep in mind that you shouldn't use K9 Advantix II on them.

The medication will ideally dry for 12 hours. It's pretty close so likely the medication will work fine. Be checking Booker (especially around his tail and groin area) to be sure. Don't reapply medication with out a vet's ok. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.

According to the manufacturer..... Please wait 48 hours between product application and bathing. A non-medicated shampoo made for dogs is fine. Baths can be given as often as once per month without affecting the performance of the product. If more than one bath is given, the product should be reapplied after the second bath. Flea shampoo, medicated shampoos, human shampoo and dish detergents are not appropriate choices when managing fleas with K9 Advantix® II and may affect the performance of the product.
