Is it safe to use Adams Plus flea collar if my dog is on Revolution?

I wouldn’t recommend using a topical flea medication at the same time as a seresto collar. Also remember Swresto doesn’t prevent heart worms which Revolution does so you would need to get a different heart worm prevention as well.

Yes you can combine them as they are completely different types of medication. Seresto contains Flumethrin (tick repellent) and Imidacloprid (interferes with the development of fleas and their larvae). Revolution is an avermectin which kills internal parasites such as heartworm and intestinal worms and actually kills fleas.

It is important to keep in mind that flea prevention works by having fleas make contact with the pets. If this is the first time you have found fleas, I would not jump to using a flea product yet. Once you switch to Trifexis, any fleas Buter comes in contact with will die faster because oral products work better than topicals. You will not need to use the flea collar. Hi yes you can use both treatments on Daphne but i suggest separating the application by two weeks. You can also consider using a product like Proheart6 - an injectable heartworm prevention given at the vet hospital that lasts for 6mths. I find that revolution works well for fleas, but doesn't cover all types of ticks. Hope this helps!

Revolution does not protect against fleas, so I'd recommend using a medication such as Nexgard which protects against fleas and ticks (including American dog ticks). It's a monthly oral flea treatment program. That way, you don't need to combine two medications to give Candy protection against fleas and ticks. Typically, I do not recommend using two different flea treatment programs togethers. The American dog tick can spread diseases such as Rocky Mountain spotted fever and Tularemia. Hi there. While there's technically no reason that these two medications can't be used together, they are both heartworm preventatives - so there's quite a bit over overlap in what they do, and both should not be needed at the same time. If your pup is currently on Interceptor and you want to add a second medication to cover fleas, I would recommend using something like Nexgard or Bravecto - these are flea/tick meds only, so you wouldn't be treating her unnecessarily for heartworms with two different meds.
