Frontline spray works great for getting rid of fleas. Below is a link to a page that has the spray displayed. It also has the topical drops that I prefer, because they are easier to apply and last longer.

Treating for fleas is not just restricted to the host, because fleas can reproduce and nest in the environment and continually cause an issue. Below is a link to a short article that explains treating the dog and environment for fleas:

    Thank you for submitting your question regarding your puppy. I recommend topical flea and tick products as opposed to oral ones. In this case, they will repel and kill pests on contact. When an oral product is used, the pest needs to bite the pet to be effective. This results in itchy wounds on the dog and allows diseases to be transmitted. I like Vectea 3D as a product. You also need to clean the environment by vacuuming daily as most fleas are not on the dog. It is important to treat all pets in the home. I hope this information helps!
