Is it safe to use my cat's Hartz flea and tick topical on my dog?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | unneutered | 4 years and 1 month old | 68 lbs

I have Hartz ultraguard topical flea and tick prevention for cats can I use it on my Dogg

No, this would not be recommended. Given the weight difference, you would likely need multiple doses which could easily lead to overdose.
Use a product specifically for dogs. Talk with your veterinarian about the safest, most effective options.

    Hi Jewel,

    Yes it could be harmful if she ingests it. I really don't recommend using Hartz products - they are not very safe. If you need a flea prevention please use one of the name brands like Advantage II or Frontline. Always put the product high up on the neck so the cat can't reach around and lick it.
