Hello! My cat and dog have both puked yellow, liquidy vomit today. We haven’t changed their food or anything in the house so we are not sure what is going on.

If he is eating and seems better than that is a good sign. If, however, he continues to vomit than you need to call your vet and have him examined. He could have a parasite and your vet can test a stool sample for parasites and then prescribe a dewormer, if needed.

Poor Bruno! It could be due to the cold; if he is coughing a lot, that could cause him to vomit. The yellow of his vomit is likely due to bile in his stomach. If Bruno is coughing so hard that he is vomiting, I would take him into the vet tomorrow. He could be very congested, and may need a bronchodilator to help relieve the congestion. In the meantime, you can try using a humidifier or bringing him into the bathroom with the door closed while you take a hot shower - the steam and humidity help to break up congestion and temporarily relieve symptoms associated with respiratory infections.

That depends. If the vomiting continues, then Max should be examined by the veterinarian. Pets can vomit for many reasons and the causes can range from acid reflux to intestinal blockage. Pay close attention to Max’s appetite and attitude. If he does not want to eat or seems like he feels bad, have him examined by the veterinarian. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.
