I would recommend a food intended for small breed dogs. The three brands I prefer when choosing a food are Hill’s, Royal Canin, and Purina. I think any of these would be a good choice.

Additionally, if you are unsure of the age and history of your dog I would recommend taking her in to be examined by your veterinarian. You vet will be able to give an estimate of Bella’s age and recommend appropriate vaccinations as well.

I hope this helps. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Best of luck.

Great question! Brands I recommend include Royal Canin, Hill's Science Diet, Purina ProPlan, and Iams. If you are looking for a supermarket brand food, Purina would be my recommendation. Because Sophie is 11 months old, she will still need a puppy formulated food until she is a year old. Once she turns one year old, she can go on an adult dog food like your chihuahua. I hope this helps!

Brands of food I recommend include Royal Canin, Hill's Science Diet, Purina ProPlan, and Iams. Ivy still needs a puppy food, so I would feed her a puppy formulation from one of those brands. I hope this helps!
