Can Vetco Wellness Clinics treat my sick pet, or just vaccinate?

Vetco mobile vaccine clinics are for dog and cats only. Vetco does have some physical clinics and they may offer services to exotics but that is a clinic by clinic basis. You would need to call to find out. You may also go online and look up veterinarian who service ferrets. Some Banfield clinics do offer this and once again, it’s a clinic by clinic situation. I'm so sorry that Bernard is having these problems. It sounds like he needs more diagnostics and treatment than a Petco wellness center can provide. The wellness centers are just for vaccinations and basic wellness testing. Bernard should have more testing than that to determine what is going on the best way to treat it. They can provide you with a list of services they can provide. Sometimes vaccine clinics only do vaccines and do not provide medicine or see sick animals. Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! VetCo, which is the vaccination services offered at some PetCo's, doesn't treat illnesses or skin conditions. It is a WELLNESS clinic, so they only see healthy pets with out any issues. I recommend seeing a Vet at a hospital or clinic for Mia's skin issues. It is possible that it is a skin infection. Vetco vaccine clinics in Petco stores are unfortunately not equipped to deal with any health problems such as eye infections or scratches. They are only set up for preventative health care which means vaccines, heartworm tests, deworming, microchips. I would recommend taking Luna to a full service veterinarian for this issue.

Unfortunately, there are no veterinary clinics located in Petco stores in your area - yet. You can get vaccinations done at Vetco vaccination clinics, as well as heartworm and flea and tick prevention. Be sure you get Tars in before he is 6 months of age, and he won't need a heartworm test. He should also be dewormed against intestinal parasites.
