Unfortunately, Bear's condition will require veterinary attention. He may require topical antibiotic ointment to help his eye heal. I would try to locate a veterinarian who will accept payments or even contact the humane society and see if they provide low cost veterinary care.

Poor kitten, glad you found him. Probably need to get him into your local veterinarian as soon as possible to get all this checked out, but in the meantime, you might want to gently clean up those areas around the nose and ears with some warm water and cotton balls. Be sure to wash your hands afterward in case of ringworm. You could gently hot pack the swelling around the eye, again with cotton and warm water, but this is only supportive help until your vet can examine it and recommend appropriate treatment. Nutrition is very important with small amounts of dry or canned kitten food mixed with warm water or kitten milk replacer, available at your vet clinic or feed store. Feed at least 4-6 times daily small amounts. Be sure to monitor the litter box for urine and feces and if none, then may need to wipe the genital areas with warm water and soft cloth to stimulate the process of elimination. I am so sorry to hear about Fritz. It is an unusual presentation for sure, as we commonly see abscesses around this area in cats but it is unusual to see them symmetrical (if that is what you are describing), we would also worry about an infection in the root of the tooth, lymph nodes, or salivary glands. Unfortunately your cat require veterinary care, this is not something you can treat at home. You will have to figure out a way to get him into a vet. This may involve finding a clinic that is lower cost- some humane societies or animal protective leagues have lower cost clinics available. Some clinics work with companies such as Care Credit to allow you to charge your bill and pay in monthly installments, and there are some funds for cases where pets need care and owners cannot afford it, or some people even pawn belongings or borrow from friends or family in these cases.
