Found a stray kitten with a weird lump on its belly. What should I do?

Hi...i found a stray kitten and there is this weird type of thing under his belly tell me if its a infection or something like tgat and what should i do?

That doesn't look good. It looks like a hernia (possibly a section of intestines or the omentum) that has come out of the body and is now dried out.

The other option is a dried umbilical stump.

You really should try to get the kitten to a vet for an exam. It is difficult for me to say what you can do if I'm not sure what is going on. If you try some home treatment and that is a piece of intestines hanging out then you could certainly make it worse.

    Ouch! That looks like it may be a hernia, however an exam in person is needed to confirm this. It would be best to bring the stray kitten to a veterinarian for a complete exam to determine what it is, or contact a local shelter/animal control that can take in the kitten and care for it.
