My newly adopted stray kitten had a sore/wound behind his ear when we got him. Very little blood, but oozed pale yellow puss. The vet said to leave it alone. It was almost fully healed when we adopted his littermate. Now the wound has worsened. His brother cleans him THOROUGHLY and they play rough. I’ve tried separating them but they hate it. Still very little blood, mostly puss. A cone might rub on the wound and will probably make it worse. What should I do to keep his brother off the wound?
