Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | spayed | 1 year and 10 months old | 8.8 lbs
I have a 1-year-old female who apparently was not fully spayed (ovarian remnant is suspected). She has had 2 heat cycles since I adopted her in October. I have a neutered male cat who responds to her heat behaviors by attempting to mount her. I would like to know if there are any changes I can make in the household while she is going through this? The vet said surgery to explore would cost about $500, so I'm grinning and trying to bear it for the moment.

It's possible Bella was not spayed at all, that is if she has not been with you since being a kitten, it's a possibility that you have been told she was spayed but it wasn't true. in that case the surgery should be cheap an simple. if you are 100% sure she was spayed then it is obviously more complicated and no changes you will make in the house will have any effect on your cats i'm afraid.
