My cat's in heat too long. How to stop her calling without spaying?

She’s been in heat calling none stop for more than a month now, it’s crazy, is it normal? She used to have it for a week maybe 10 days. But this time it’s intense. She’s almost two years old but virgin. I got her a male three weeks ago he was all over her wanting to mate but she rejected him although in heat. He stayed with her for 5 days with nothing happening she hits and run. The minute he’s out she’s calling again. crazy girl. How can I make her stop but without neutering / spaying her?

Get her another male now. She may not have been ready to mate or did not like the one you already introduced her to.
Cats usually stay in heat until they have mated as they are triggered ovulators. Sometimes a veterinarian can trigger ovulation in a cat , however this does not always work. So, if you want kittens, just find another male for her.

Cats will tend to have a recurring heat cycle until they are bred, so if she isn't yet pregnant, she is likely to continue to have interest in the male, and the male in her. If you do not wish to have kittens, getting both your female spayed and your male neutered can prevent this, as well as reduce/stop the heat-related behaviors.

They usually go into heat every few weeks if they aren't mated so this is definitely possible. If you don't want her to have another heat cycle, you could talk to your vet about inducing ovulation to help her go out of heat but this isn't always recommend depending on the patient, or you could have her spayed if you don't plan to breed her. Yes, it is possible that she is back in heat. Cats are induced ovulators and will often stay in heat until they are bred. I suggest you get her spayed as soon as possible. The only way to end her heat cycle is to either have her spayed or to let her meet a boy, Unfortunately queens will stay in heat until they get covered by a tomcat, as they are triggered ovulators. There are no medications which will stop her heat. Best have Snowy spayed if you do not intend to breed her.

Cats will remain in heat until they have found a tomcat to engage with. So, unless she had a boyfriend to impregnate her she will not come out of heat. If you do not want kittens you should be kind to her and have her spayed.
