Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 9 lbs
My cat is around 8 years old and a female. She's always been anti social and never cared for people. We got a new cat 2 years ago they don't play much. Then we got a dog about a year ago. The new cat and dog get along but the old cat hates everyone and lately the new cat has started tearing up the old one. But before the cat fights about 4 months ago the old cat started going to the bathroom everywhere #1 & #2. And especially after a cat fight she'll climb on something and go poop & or pee. Why?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I recommend taking Bella to a vet for an exam, blood work, and a urine test. Older cats can sometimes have changes in their kidney and thyroid function which can cause behavior changes. They can also have urinary tract infections which can cause behavior changes. If all her labs look normal, she could be stressed out about something but you need to rule out medically causes first. Good luck and kisses to Bell!
