If she is early in her pregnancy, then spaying would be ok. Late in pregnancy you would be asking the vet to kill the kittens individually, and it would be hard healthwise on the cat. Not every vet would agree to spay cats late in pregnancy. Abortion with medication is not usually practiced. You may want to start finding homes for the kittens already, before they are born. Leave them with mommy for around 10 weeks. Kittens need their mother until then for a healthy development and for learning everything a kitten needs to learn.
