Spaying Tabby is the only way to terminate her pregnancy. If you decide to have her spayed, I would recommend doing so sooner rather than later. If you decide allow her possible pregnancy to continue and want to avoid future pregnancies, please have her spayed as soon as her kittens have weaned.

Hello, Rules on vaccination for spaying cats will vary from every independent hospital. I would recommend calling low cost spay and neuter programs in your area to discuss getting her spayed and at minimal, a rabies vaccination. Many hospitals spay trapped feral cats who have never been vaccinated, so I don't think you will have any problem finding someone to help you out. :) I hope this is helpful! What a surprise! Fortunately, the recent surgery should not cause any problems at all with the kittens - there is no reason that she shouldn't be able to have them normally. If her paw seems painful, I would definitely recommend giving your vet a call in the morning to let them know that she's uncomfortable - he/she should be able to prescribe some additional pain medication for the next few days.

Yes she can still nurse the kittens, if she still has milk. Sometimes a queen can also restart making milk. This is great as she will take care of them emotionally, hygienically and teach them everything they need to know, especially if you do not take them away before they are 12 weeks old. If she does not have milk (the kittens will get grouchy and whine ) you will need to feed them with kitten formula. You can find out their age by weighing them. For each week of age they are 3.5 oz , so if they are three weeks old they would weigh about 10.5 oz. If you are not sure that mama has milk, take her to your vet who can check that for you.
