My pregnant cat has signs, when will she deliver her kittens?

Pet's info: Cat | Bengal | Female | 11 months and 29 days old

My pregnant cat (Chippy) is like to sleep more and eat more food. I can see kittens are moving in her belly. She is rolling around and I can see her big nipples are pink in colour. She always cleaning her body. Please tell me the date of delivery.

Cats are pregnant for about 60 days. You will start to. It’s e her mammary glands fill with milk around the 7th week of pregnancy. Their temperature will drop when it gets within 48 hours of labor and their appetite can decrease then. It is not uncommon to see a clear mucous discharge in the urine around a week before labor. Without knowing when she was in heat and bred these signs are the best guide to let you know about delivery.

    Cats are pregnant for about 9 weeks. If she is having discharge it should be soon. If you notice her straining or she becomes lethargic you should take her to her veterinarian as they can develop a dystocia (when a baby gets stuck) as this is an emergency.

    Cats are pregnant for 60-63 days so she has 4-7 days technically, but they can give birth earlier or later. If she is in stage 1 labor you’d expect kittens in 10-24 hours.

    The gestation period for cats is anywhere from 64-66 days, so you can expect the kittens this number of days from when she hooked up with the male cat. If you are unsure of when that is, then think back to when she was showing signs of being in heat.

She does look quite full! She should be pregnant for 64 days and will start making milk after the kittens come. The only way to know for sure how many kittens are in there would be an x-ray at the vet. Good luck with the the babies!!

My cat is 64 days pregnant with no labor signs. Should I be worried?
Gestation is about 63-65 days, so you should be seeing signs of labor soon. If your timing is right, it should be any day now. You may be slightly off on your timing and maybe she has been pregnant for less time than you think? Look for signs of labor such as nesting behavior, vocalization, being more affectionate, licking the vulva and a change in appetite. Cats do not always give clear signs of labor like dogs so it can be tricky sometimes to notice when a cat is in labor. I hope this helps! There is no way we can predict the date of delivery, gestation ids approximately 63days. Labor begins with nesting and restlessness which progresses to active abdominal contractions and fluid discharge which should last no longer than 2hours before the delivery of the first kitten

While some people notice a change in the nipples when a cat is pregnant it is not a very accurate predictor. I think you should see a veterinarian to confirm the pregnancy and make sure the kittens are okay and not in distress. Occasionally cats will need help with labor either through medical management or a c-section and if she is 63 days today it would be a good idea to check for signs of fetal distress.

Some cats start producing milk one day before giving birth, and others start 2 or 3 weeks before. She is already very "round" and should have them in the next few days. As long as she appears happy and healthy, eats drinks, poops and pees, there is no problem. Once she starts going into labor, she should have the kittens within a relatively short time. If you see her straining for more than 1/2 hour without producing a kitten, it is time to take her to a vet. If she has a discharge that smells bad, there is a problem and she should also be seen by a vet. Any discharge near, during and after giving birth should be odor-less.
