My Persian cat has an injured paw and won't eat. What should I do?

It’s actually quite serious when a cat won’t eat, and that tells me Nightfury is in a lot of pain. Unfortunately there are no OTC pain medications you can give him. Many are toxic to cats, and are fatal if given. You need to take him into an ER vet now.

If he injured his leg it probably got infected and he needs antibiotic treatment in order to get better. if you can't find a vet you will need to give him some pediatric antibiotic suspension, such as amoxy/clav for example, the dosage is 15 mg/kg.

It's a little difficult to see the wound in your picture, but it looks like there might be some discharge on Prince's fur. If he is painful enough that he can't walk I'd be concerned that the wound could be infected or even that it affects the bone. I would recommend having a veterinarian examine Prince's leg - they might recommend taking an x-ray or may recommend antibiotics. If there's a large wound they might even recommend surgical repair.

Ouch, poor Felix! If he can't walk on it, it looks infected, and he's hardly eaten or drank today, you should take him into a vet right away. It's likely very painful to him, causing him to not be able to put pressure on it. Severe pain would keep him from eating and drinking as well. There is a good chance she could have an abscess. It needs to be opened and drained and then put on antibiotics for the infection. They can also give her some pain medications to help. If it is not an abscess then they may recommend doing an X-ray and make sure she didn’t break something. So I would have her looked at by tour vet. Hope she feels better soon

Whitey is very handsome! I would recommend monitoring it if you can't get to a veterinarian. If he starts licking at it I recommend putting an Elizabethan collar on so he cannot reach it.
