My kitten is vomiting, not eating, can't walk. Is she dying?

I recommend getting your cat seen by your vet or an emergency vet right away. Cats need to eat, if they go more than a few days without eating they can develop serious liver problems which can be fatal. Continuous vomiting for so many hours is very exhausting and dehydrating, so your kitten likely needs some medical intervention to get better. Your vet will do an exam, labwork, possibly x-rays, and based on these results, your vet will have a better idea what is going on and can better advise you about treatment options.

This sounds really bad. Andromeda can be helped at the vet's. She can get IV fluids and medication to help with her symptoms. She is extremely ill and cannot be treated at home. I'd take her into another vet's office now.

It sounds like she may be having neurologic symptoms, which could be due to low blood sugar associated with not eating and drinking, and she is very likely dehydrated. This is potentially deadly, and your kitten should be seen right away to check her blood sugar levels, assess for dehydration, and address the cause of her weakness. Another very serious concern in a stray kitten is the possibility of rabies infection, which is transmitted from the saliva of infected mammals, can be passed on to humans, and is fatal. There may also be other underlying neurologic causes for her condition, and a veterinarian can help determine the cause and start treatment .

I agree she sounds very sick, and it's extremely serious she cannot hold down water and will not eat. This is not something you can treat at home, you must take her into a vet now as this is a medical emergency. Please take her into an ER vet immediately.

Poor kitty! If she is vomiting and not eating or drinking, this is a serious problem - even if the problem began because of stress, she will quickly become dehydrated if this continues. I would recommend having her examined by a vet as soon as you can - he/she can do blood work and x-rays if needed to find out what's wrong and get her started on IV fluids and other supportive care if needed.

I am so sorry to hear about Kleo. These symptoms are very concerning and could potentially lead to if she goes untreated. It is impossible for me to say what is going on with her without an examination but with her symptoms we would worry about things like an issue with circulation due to a possible heart condition, hypoglycemia (very low blood sugar), neurological issues, toxicity. I would recommend rubbing some karo syrup or honey on her gums in case her blood sugar is low, wrapping her in a warm blanket or towel (one from the dryer if available to be even a little warmer if she is cold) and getting her to the vet right away. They will need to do an examination of her to try to determine the cause of the symptoms which will help determine if treatment is possible. I wish you the best of luck.

Hi. It sounds like she is very sick. With these signs, she needs to go to the ER right away. It sounds as if she has a neurologic condition that is progressing. They will do an exam, labwotk and imaging and that will help.guide us to the possible diagnosis. Good.luck
