My kitten is throwing up after antibiotics. Can I syringe feed?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 1lb

My kitten has been throwing up from antibiotics for the last 4 days. I discontinued the antibiotics 2 days ago. He hasn't been eating much or drinking water and I'm just wondering is if safe for me to feed him with a syringe or Wil that just prolong the vomiting ?

I would recommend taking Soot back to the vet. If he hasn't been on antibiotics in 2 days then there may be another reason for the vomiting. He needs a full exam and possible diagnostics to determine the cause of vomitting and approriate treatment. Syringe feeding him while he is sick and nauseated is unlikely to be successful. Good luck and hope he's better soon!
