Is it normal for cats mammary glands to swell when they are in heat? My kitten Has enlarged mammaries and I want to make sure it’s because of being in heat.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Yes, swelling or enlargement of the mammary glands is commonly observed when they are in heat so this is likely normal in Sarabi. No need to be concerned. Good luck and have a good night!

That may be normal swelling from being in heat but I really cannot tell you without examining her myself. I would be somewhat concerned about these since one lump is not associated with a mammary gland. It is best to have her examined in person by your vet.
