It will be working, but if he has a heavy burden of worms, it will take more than one deworming treatment to kill all the worms in his intestines. I would wait another week, and then give him another deworming treatment. Certain deworming treatments are better than others. For example, the ones you get from the vet will be more effective because it will have stronger active ingredients. It could also be he has a type of worms that the deworming treatment you use didn't cover. Panacur, for example, only kills roundworms, whipworms, and hookworms, but not tapeworms. So if Jasper has tapeworms, those won't be killed. I'd recommend giving him Drontal. It covers all four types of worms. You can get it from the vet during a visit.
