Congratulations on your new kitten - she is adorable! Alley may have intestinal parasites, which are pretty common in cats living outside. It may have taken about 2 weeks for the symptoms to start as the parasites need to go through their life cycle to start causing problems. The diarrhea may also be caused by a bacterial or viral infection, but these are somewhat less likely. I recommend having her seen by a vet as soon as possible so that the appropriate treatment can be started. She will also need a good physical exam to make sure that she is otherwise healthy. I recommend that you wash your hands thoroughly with warm soapy water after handling Alley's litter, as some of these parasites can be transmitted to people.

She is cute! She could have an infection or a parasite. You could take a stool sample to your vet and have it tested for parasites. If she hasn't been dewormed then an intestinal parasite is a definite possibility and your vet can prescribe a dewormer. She might also need some fluids to prevent dehydration. You could also add a probiotic to her food and see if that helps. Hope she gets better soon!

Hi there and thanks for posting! Diarrhea or loose stools can be common in kittens with intestinal parasites. I would recommend running a fecal test at your veterinarian's office to rule out parasites as cause. Falcor may need to be on medication and may need a few more deworming treatments and a recheck fecal test to help treat him and be sure he is negative for parasites. Be sure to wash your hands well after touching his feces during little box clean up or if he has an accident on the floor. Diarrhea can be observed with conditions such as colitis, gastroenteritis, dietary indiscretion, intestinal parasites, among many other possibilities. They probably got it from the mother. I recommend that you have them evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. It sounds like your kitty may have intestinal parasites causing his diarrhea. I would get his poop tested through your vet first to determine what kind of parasite is present so that this is treated for appropriately. You can also try a general dewormer from your local petstore if you just want to try something before having to make an appt. I do hope that your fur baby Whisket's stools return to normal soon! I recommend to have her examined by the veterinarian. With severe diarrhea, there are often bacterial shifts in the gut that will make matters worse regardless of the initial cause. Make sure to bring in a sample of fresh stool. The doctor will check her for parasites and bacterial over growth. Additionally, the veterinarian can provide medications for symptomatic treatment. Many times a bland diet can help and then a slow, gradual introduction to the regular food can be done. A good diet in general is Royal Canin. It is low residue and highly digestible.
