My kitten is lethargic, not eating or drinking. What should I do?

  It sounds as Naughty is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking her to the vet the first chance you get, she will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection she will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better. if the vet thinks it is more serious she will need a blood test and possibly an ultrasound in order to find out what is wrong.

  It sounds like she may be having a vaccination reaction. It is possible that she could be having a complication from the surgery but a vaccine reaction is more likely. I think you should get her back to the vet for an exam so you can get a diagnosis and can get the proper treatment. She will likely need some anti-inflammatoy medication and some fluids (at minimum). I suggest not waiting too long to get her treatment. Kittens this young go downhill very fast when sick and not treated promptly.

  If the lethargy and decreased appetite continues then you should call your vet. She may need additional medications to help treat the problem. She might need more pain medications or an antibiotic to treat infection.
