My kitten is lethargic and won't eat. How can I save my kitten?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 3 days old | 0 lbs

One more question about my poor Dewey, if he starts refusing food like his brother did before dying, or if he begins to act lethargic, is there anything more I can do for him? As I said in my question before, the vet refuses to see them. 3 out of 4 kittens are dead. I want this little guy to survive

If Dewey starts refusing food and acting lethargic, unfortunately there is nothing you can do for him at home besides giving him a teaspoon of honey or Karo syrup before having to rush him into the vet. Newborn kittens are extremely fragile, and any problem with them should be considered an emergency. I would find another vet to see him should he start acting like his brother did before he died.
