My new kitten still has fleas and hasn't pooped. What should I do?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Mediumhair | Female | 0.6 lbs

I rescued a kitten two days ago and took her to the vet yesterday. She was treat for fleas yesterday but this evening living fleas are still on her. She also hasn’t pooped since I got her.

Usually the fleas are dead within the first day, but sometimes it does take a while for them to finally die. I would wait at-least a week until considering treating them again.

It's not uncommon for kittens to get constipated with a change in food and/or environment. You may consider a couple of home remedies for constipation. If she goes more than five days without pooping, or is otherwise acting sick, then I recommend taking her back to the vet for an evaluation.
