I am sorry to hear that Boba Fett isn’t feeling well. The area in the picture looks like she has an injury to the skin. I would encourage you to have her evaluated by your veterinarian soon. If she is unable to poop then she needs to be seen immediately. In the meantime please keep the area clean with warm water

Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to address your concern. This could be from irritation in the colon or there could be a wound. Without pictures it is difficult to say for sure what the cause of the blood could be. I would recommend having a veterinarian examine Boba Fett so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. I hope this helps! It looks like Coco may have a small amount of rectal tissue prolapsed. This can occur if they have parasites, chronic diarrhea, foreign body or constipation. If he is eating, acting normal, not vomiting and does not have more bleeding, then he can be seen Monday. Otherwise, he will need to see an emergency veterinarian this weekend. The bleeding can be the result of intestinal parasites, an anal gland problem, a wound near his anus or having passed a firm dry bowel movement. You should check his litterbox for any diarrhea or hard stool. I hope this information helps!

My kitten's bottom is gooey, bloody, and smells weird. What's wrong?

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Fluffy! Fluffy is most likely having diarrhea. The mucous and blood indicated colon inflammation. Due to the blood and Fluffy being so small, I recommend you have her seen by a Vet today before the weekend. I recommend bringing a stool sample (if she passed actual feces). Possible causes are: intestinal parasites, viral or bacterial infections, food allergy or intolerance. For a kitten so small I worry about dehydration and secondary infections. It is best to have her seen today. I hope this helps and I wish Fluffy a speedy recovery!

It is difficult to say without being able to examine your kitty. This may be blood from an anal gland infection, but could also be from an injury or bloody diarrhea. You should take her to a veterinary doctor as she will need antibiotics to prevent infection.

My kitten is bleeding from her vagina. Is this normal or an emergency?

This is not normal and could be a sign of urinary issues or trauma. If she has very recently been with the mother then neonatal isoerythrolysis would be another possibility but if you have had her more than a few days this would not be a possibility. I would recommend having a veterinarian examine her to determine what might be going on.
