A cat's mouth is usually full of bacteria that can result in severe infections and cellulitis in humans that get bit. You should check with a local physician as soon as possible. This type of wounds must be considered always infected. A check up, appropriate disinfection and possibly antibiotics (oral, topical or in a shampoo formulation) are needed to solve the problem. Disinfection may be started at home with very diluted hibiscrub or betadine or salted water baths. I would have yourself checked out by a doctor and see if you may need some antibiotics. As for Felix's love biting, you need to be very careful not to accidentally support or encourage this behavior. As soon as he begins to do that sort of thing, simply walk away and do not continue the interaction. Any type of interaction at that point may be misconstrued by him as playing or support. There could be many things wrong with the cat to make her so skinny, including intestinal parasites, malnutrition, infection, cancer, etc. However, I am more concerned that she bit you and drew blood. Cats can have some very nasty bacteria in their mouths, and I recommend that you see a doctor as soon as possible for the appropriate treatment. Also, since we do not know her vaccine status, we cannot be certain that she does not have Rabies, which is 100% fatal in humans. I recommend that you contact your local Animal Control office or law enforcement so that the appropriate quarantine or diagnostics can be done on the cat or you.
