What breed and gender is the stray cat I'm feeding, acting domestic?

From the pictures, it does look like he may be a german shepherd or similar breed It is hard to estimate age from pictures, but he is clearly young (under a year). I would recommend if he was found, he be taken to a veterinary office for a check-up and to be scanned for a microchip.

There is something about his face that indicates he may have some Siamese or other Oriental breed in there but mostly Domestic Short hair. Have a great day!

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Fleki is very cute! He appears to be a normal Domestic Short haired cat. They can come in many colors and patterns. It is hard to be accurate about his age with out doing a physical exam and seeing his teeth. But I would guess around 1 1/2 to 2 years of age. Have a great weekend!

It sounds like he is acting like a typical friendly kitty. It is possible that he was once owned and that it why he is so friendly. He may have been lost or abandoned, but still has a pleasant attitude around people. If he is gentle enough that you could take him to a veterinary hospital or animal shelter, they could scan him for a microchip to find information on his previous owners. Typically truly feral cats are afraid of people and will not allow this type of contact with people.

Hello and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. What a beautiful cat and creative name! This looks like a dilute tortoiseshell (tortie) and is most likely a female. I would provide a box outside near where you are feeding her so that she will be more likely to hang around. As she gets more comfortable with you and more used to human contact, you may eventually be able to keep her inside the garage and then eventually inside the house. Some cats who already have a taste of outside can be difficult to keep strictly indoors and might constantly try to escape.

This poor cat looks like a mess! How lovely of you to take her in. She looks like a domestic short hair to me from your pictures. Without seeing her in person, there is no way I can say if she is pregnant or not. She definitely needs a vet visit asap. She needs to be cleaned up, have a health check done, and the vet can determine if she is pregnant or not. Please take her into a vet now.
