My guinea pig's stuffy nose returned after Baytril. What can I do?

Pet's info: Exotic | Unknown - Exotic | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 16 days old

My guinea pig sounds like he has a stuffy nose and it also looks a little wet. I took him to the vet and they gave him Baytril it kind of worked but now he’s off treatment and his nose sound stuffy again he eats very well and is very active I have no idea what to do or how to help him

Your poor piggie! Well, it's possible that he just needs to have the Baytril given for longer and not stopped as quickly. But he may also need to have additional antibiotics as well. The best medicine is to take a nasal culture at the vets and send it out to see what bacteria grows and what antibiotics is best for it. but that can be expensive. If that is not possible, I would recommend probably cobining antibiotics or changing and see if it fully resolves.
