My cat Mary has been getting some fur discoloration, especially on her right shoulder. She is a gray cat, but her fur, especially in that area is turning brown. What could be the cause of this? Is a nutrition problem? Should I be giving her supliments of some kind?

Most changes in coat color are genetic and tend to happen as pets get older (they can even have premature greying). Infections and endocrine disease can also cause coat changes. You may want to have Panther checked for hypothyroidism to see if that is causing the change in color. I hope this helps.
