It's possible he is being skittish, just enjoys being outdoors, or has been injured and so won't approach you. It may be a good idea to contact your local animal shelter for a humane trap (one that doesn't hurt them when they enter it). You can then place it in his usual hangout spot with some smelly food (heated chicken or canned food) to entice him to enter. Once he's safely captured, bringing him to your vet to make sure he's OK after being out so long is best, and from there you can get him settled back in indoors.

You can try to lure her in with tuna. Hello and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. What a beautiful cat and creative name! This looks like a dilute tortoiseshell (tortie) and is most likely a female. I would provide a box outside near where you are feeding her so that she will be more likely to hang around. As she gets more comfortable with you and more used to human contact, you may eventually be able to keep her inside the garage and then eventually inside the house. Some cats who already have a taste of outside can be difficult to keep strictly indoors and might constantly try to escape.

If she won't let you catch her you can set up a humane trap (most animal shelters have ones you can rent) or a carrier and place some warmed up wet food or even some warm fried chicken in it. The smell is usually enough to entice the cat to enter the carrier/cage so that you can safely trap them. If she has been roaming around a new location, a checkup with your vet to make sure she is not injured or ill from the experience is also smart.

Sprinkle some dry food or treats into an aluminum pie tin. Gentle shake it to make noise while calling Belle. This may get her to come to you. If you feed canned food, try running the can opener. That sound may also draw her out.

I'm sorry to hear your can't find your kitty! This would be stressing me out too! If you are able to hear her but and she sounds like she might be in some trouble, I would be looking in some really small places that she might have been able to get in but not necessarily get out of. I would be looking in any place that she might have been able to get behind a wall or into a ceiling. Otherwise, if you think she might just be hiding somewhere that she doesn't want you to find her, starting leaving out some stuff that she would normally come running for on any other normal day.
