If she won't let you catch her you can set up a humane trap (most animal shelters have ones you can rent) or a carrier and place some warmed up wet food or even some warm fried chicken in it. The smell is usually enough to entice the cat to enter the carrier/cage so that you can safely trap them. If she has been roaming around a new location, a checkup with your vet to make sure she is not injured or ill from the experience is also smart.

You may try leaving tasty treats or very small amounts of food out on the steps/porch and lead them into the house (if you can leave the door open so he walks in. You can also sit quietly outside with something tasty to encourage him to come to you. Be patient and quiet. Most pets will get hungry enough that they will try to over come their fears. It's possible he is being skittish, just enjoys being outdoors, or has been injured and so won't approach you. I would provide a box outside near where you are feeding her so that she will be more likely to hang around. As she gets more comfortable with you and more used to human contact, you may eventually be able to keep her inside the garage and then eventually inside the house. Some cats who already have a taste of outside can be difficult to keep strictly indoors and might constantly try to escape.

You may start off by partitioning a part of the house for her to get used to. As you get more comfortable with her being outside of the cage, then you may allow her more space within the house. You may also ensure that the doors are closed so that she does not attempt to get out. Finally, you should also spay her before her first cycle so that she is not more likely to get out. Start by coaxing Shunu out from under the bed with a bit strong smelling food - such as canned tuna or chicken. Cats are often fairly responsive to smelly foods and warming up these foods slightly may make the odor more prominent. Once she comes out, try to block off this area so that she cannot go back. Young kittens should be confined to a large crate or small, safe room when they are not directly supervised, as they tend to get into trouble. Kittens also require a lot of sleep throughout the day, so she may have been simply seeking a quiet place to rest.
