Why is my cat yowling, coughing, gagging, and itching her ears a lot?

I agree with you, it sounds like she’s in heat! I don’t see her age listed, but I see she is not spayed and she’s 4 pounds so I’m assuming she’s a kitten. If she goes outside and is around intact males, she may go into heat a bit earlier than expected, which is usually 6 months. With aar infections cats tend to scratch their ears and shake their head, rather than roll around as you’re describing. If she’s eating normally, I doubt it’s her mouth, but an exam would have to be performed to have a better idea. Allergies would be possible but often don’t start causing an issue until adulthood, and again would be expected to cause itchiness and scratching, redness on the skin, sneezing, etc. If her abnormal behavior continues, take her in. Bed bugs typically will not get on your pet and if they do, they won't live long on them. So, I doubt it is that. It is more likely she is in heat. The only way to be sure would be to take her to the vet for an exam so they can look down in her ears with an otoscope.

Tyga could be suffering from allergies causing her to itch, or she could have an ear infection causing her to scratch at her ear. An ear infection can be caused by bacteria or yeast in addition to ear mites, so I would recommend having her seen by a vet tomorrow. The vet can diagnose what is causing her to scratch a lot, and can treat her for it.

I would be concerned that Poppy has a serious ear infection. This could cause her to cry in pain, pace due to being uncomfortable, and potentially roll around trying to rub her ear on the ground due to it being itchy. Hello. It is possible that Kiara is bothered by some kind of skin parasite, such as cat fleas or mites. You may need to apply an appropriate flea topical to help her. She may also be in heat.
