My cat has wounds above her eyes. Could it be ringworm or ear mites?

It could be ringworm, but it could just be from an injury. It could also be discharge from the ear. I'd have Kip seen by a vet for it after Christmas. The vet can diagnose what is causing the crust and how best to treat it. Best of luck and happy holiday!

This is a tricky question because a bacterial skin infection, ringworm, and skin mites can all appear very similar. The only way to tell them apart is by either treating for one of them or doing specific skin tests like a skin scrape, a skin cytology, and a fungal culture. I think it is ok that you are using the Malaseb shampoo for now. If the issue does not resolve over the course of a week or so then you may want to have your cat examined by your vet to determine the exact cause of hair loss. I hope this helps. It would be best to bring Cata into your vet to confirm the ringworm (they can look at it under a special light to confirm it) and get a medicated shampoo or oral medication to treat it with. As ringworm is contagious to other pets and people, it is best to keep Cata isolated from other pets and to thoroughly wash hands/change clothing after handling the affected area. Keeping Cata from scratching at it with the use of an Elizabethan (cone) collar can also help prevent the spread to the rest of her body.

This looks like a ringworm infection. Kittens do get ringworm especially if they have been sick. You should take her to your veterinarian for a diagnosis and treatment. These lesions look suspicious of scabies mites, ringworm and/or this could be a result of a current ear infection (ear mites) and fleas. Neither of these conditions can be properly diagnosed and treated without the help of your veterinarian unfortunately. I would try to take at least 1 cat in to the vet to have a skin scrape and ear exam + ear cytology (if debris is seen inside the ear canal) to try and confirm the diagnosis so that we know how to best help your pets. I am highly suspicious that this is a contagious skin disease however because multiple pets have skin problems at the same time. Poor cats. Ringworm is actually caused by a fungal infection (a bit of a misnomer!), so Pickle's deworming treatment will have no impact on the lesion on her nose. That said, ringworm lesions are typically areas of hair loss and dry scaling, and rarely have thick black scabs. It is possible that Pickle injured herself, causing this black lesion. At this point, I recommend monitoring the lesion for another week. If it seems to be going away, there is no reason for concern. However, if the lesion grows, becomes more red or itchy, she should be evaluated by her vet. I hope that all goes well!
