Difficulty walking could be a sign of neurologic disease, and infection would be a concern for a cat Fluff's age. Some parasites like toxoplasmosis can cause neurologic disease, as can viruses like the feline immunodeficiency virus. Difficulty walking could also be related to trauma but this might be more obvious on an exam. If the labs are not conclusive, a referral to a neurology specialist might be recommended as sometimes advanced diagnostics like an MRI and/or spinal tap are necessary for a diagnosis. If she continues to eat and drink normally and does not seem painful I'd wait for test results to come back and discuss the next step with your veterinarian.

I recommend that you have Kitty reevaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment since things have not improved. Likely diagnostics include radiographs. Treatment would be based on findings. At the very least they can prescribe pain control medications to make kitty feel better. Make sure your kitten has an x-ray and you may consider testing for toxoplasmosis. Infections in the spine are possible. Most vets will test for this using a blood culture. An x-ray may also help show signs of an infection. Sometimes further diagnostics like an MRI or CT scan is indicated. other infections of the brain can also present as paralysis. Another possibility would be that we have hurt our leg somehow and the pain associated has caused the temperature to rise. Nevertheless, with a temperature that high, your pet needs to see the veterinarian as soon as possible to get a correct diagnosis and treatment started. If there were not a fever associated, I would tell you to wait for 24 to 48 hours with complete rest of the cat with no movement. But because of the fever, you do need to see a veterinarian. Poor Toto. This sounds like it may be a neurological issue causing her immobility in her front leg, especially of all her preliminary testing came back normal. At this point I would highly recommend asking your vet for a referral to a neurologist, who can run more advanced testing (I.e. MRI, CT scan, etc) to diagnose her problem and then explore her treatment options.

It sounds like your vet is suspicious that something may be wrong with Snoopy's spinal cord. Intervertebral disc disease, infections or inflammation around the spinal cord, or cancer would all be possibilities. If a test for FeLV has not been performed and if Snoopy goes outdoors or has never had this test in his life you may want to ask your vet about this - FeLV can cause cancer of the spinal cord that can lead to paralysis. Otherwise it sounds like all diagnostics have probably already been performed and without further testing there may not be much to do other than supportive care. You could ask about referral to a specialist, but that might not be available in your area either.
