Why is my cat throwing up yellow foam and undigested dry food?

Marley is a very handsome boy! I'd have him checked out by a vet for a geriatric blood panel and urinalysis. In senior cats, there are medical conditions that can cause vomiting such as diabetes, hyperthyroidism, and kidney disease, and those tests I mentioned above can screen him for them. Yellow foamy vomit can sometimes indicate reflux or a very empty stomach. If it's only happened rarely, you can try offering food in smaller amounts more often to help keep Ravioli's tummy full and see if it helps. If he vomits more often, or seems lethargic or otherwise ill, or the vomiting continues intermittently even with a change in meal times, a vet visit is a good idea to rule out any more serious issues.

It sounds as Snow is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking her to the vet the first chance you get, she will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection she will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.

Hello. I would stop all milk. Your cat may have developed an intolerance to milk. Offer plenty of fresh water, & low salt broths made from chicken or beef. If he continues to vomit, he may need to see a veterinarian to rule out parasites or other causes of intestinal disease that is making him unwell. Unfortunately, these signs are rather vague, and can be caused by a number of conditions including hair balls, intestinal parasites, inappropriate diet, and other more serious conditions such as certain cancers. I recommend having Mel seen by his vet to determine exactly what is going on. You can try feeding a bland diet at home, making sure he gets plenty of water, and grooming Mel to limit hair balls. Hello, Vomiting can occur with dietary indiscretion but also intestinal obstructions, parasites, inflammation of pancreas, kidney or liver. If vomiting persists, I would advise you to follow up with Puma’s veterinarian to discuss abdominal x-rays, bloodwork and a fecal exam.

I would be concerned this is related to Duster's kidney problems, as kidney failure is very common in senior cats and causes vomiting. It could also be a problem with his liver. I'd have him seen by a vet right away for this problem. Best of luck.
