My cat is vomiting, has diarrhea, and other symptoms. What's wrong?

Vomiting and diarrhea can occur secondary to conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease, dietary indiscretion, parasites, among other possibilities. I recommend that you have Kalvin evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. At the very least they can start him on medications to make him feel better and check his hydration status. In the meantime, keep water available at all times to try to prevent dehydration. It sounds as Sia is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking her to the vet the first chance you get, she will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection she will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better. if the vet thinks it is more serious she will need a blood test and possibly an ultrasound in order to find out what is wrong.

Oh no, poor Toffee! She sounds quite sick at the moment, and her vomiting and diarrhea could be caused by a GI illness, eating something rotten or toxic, a foreign body, or pancreatitis. I see that she isn't spayed, and her symptoms could also be caused a pyometra, which is a life threatening infection of the uterus. When a cat is having both diarrhea and vomiting, it's time to see a vet immediately to prevent her from getting severely dehydrated and sicker. She does need veterinary attention now, please take her into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. The information to reach that vet is found on a clinic's answering machine or website.

Poor kitty. This kitty could have an infection (viral or bacterial) or intestinal parasites. She should be dewormed (i.e. fenbendazole), fecal testing, examined by your vet, and then treated based on what is found. The wheezing indicates that an upper respiratory infections is most likely present as well, in which oral antibiotics are needed to clear. You can give Kiwi Lysine supplements (from your local pet store) to help boost her immune system and fight off viral infections; use a humidifier or place her in a bathroom with the hot water running to help clear up clogged nasal passages; and feed her high quality kitten food (Royal Canin, Wellness, Blue Buffalo, etc) for overall health.

Poor socks! Unfortunately there are several things that could cause vomiting and diarrhea. She could have an infection, liver or kidney issues, parasites, and much more. Since she is not drinking much water and she is at high risk for dehydration, I would strongly recommend for you to have your vet to look at her. Your vet will be able to determine the cause and get her started on the proper meds to make her feel better. I hope this helps!

This sounds like a severe gastroenteritis, possibly from an infection or parasites. Please ssek urgent veterinary attention for her as young kittens can rapidly become dangerously dehydrated and weak majing treatment very difficult
