My cat is vomiting brown liquid for a week on steroids. Why?

Missy is definitely feeling bad, which is why she is hiding. The brown vomit is somewhat concerning and indicates that she has some sort of irritation to her stomach. This can indicate an infection, blockage or toxin reaction within the stomach and/or intestines. It could also be secondary to another disease condition affecting the kidneys, liver or gall bladder. Sometimes these things can be temporary, but I wouldn't wait longer than a day to see if Missy gets better on her own. Yes, I do think Sapphire needs to see a vet. Vomiting this much a week isn't normal. I do recommend tests such a blood work and a urinalysis to start. Further tests such as x-rays or ultrasound may be needed as well.

Wednesday could be having many different issues that could range from a virus to pancreatitis. I would try to feed her a bland diet of boiled chicken and white rice. Make sure she is drinking water and observe her for any further vomiting/diarrhea or lethargy. If she is continuing to be sick tomorrow, I would recommend to take her into the vet for an exam and some bloodwork. The doctor can also give her medicine to help her feel better.
