My cat is vomiting, has bare spots, and watery eyes. Is it Parvo?

It sounds as your cat is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection (could be parvo). it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet the first chance you get, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.

This is definitely a sign that he has nausea, it could be due to cat distemper (cat parvo), but it could also be due to other things, if this keeps happening and he stops eating you will need to take him to the vet ASAP in order to get treatment.

If Mochi truly had Panleukopenia Virus this spring, then it is extremely unlikely he would ever get it again. However, that doesn't mean he couldn't get some other virus or bacteria that could cause vomiting and diarrhea. If you changed his diet before the vomiting and diarrhea started, then it may be the food switch. You may have changed foods too suddenly and caused an upset stomach, or Mochi may have a dietary intolerance of food allergy to the new food. Other possible causes for diarrhea and vomiting include stress colitis, IBD, GI blockage, intestinal parasites, among a few other things. If the vomiting and diarrhea persist for longer than 24 hours, or if Mochi develops a poor appetite or lethargy, then he should be evaluated by a veterinarian.

Poor little puppy! I can give you a home remedy for Honey to see if that helps, as well as some things to look out for in terms of symptoms of parvo. Withhold food for 6 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, she vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, she has blood in her feces, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, she will need to see a vet right away. If you're not happy with how the first vet took care of things, and Ojitos is still vomiting and having diarrhea I would most definitely seek out another veterinarian for care. It could be that there is an underlying viral or bacterial illness like you suspect, and he may need hospitalization or subcutaneous fluids as well as injections to help with the vomiting in addition to any other medications to treat the underlying issue. You can try to offer a bland diet of some boiled chicken and rice, or even some low-sodium chicken broth to try and keep him hydrated/eating/drinking, however if this is continuing or he is acting very ill it is best to seek out veterinary care ASAP.

My suspicion is this is probably more just from car sickness. If Nittany is acting otherwise normal then I would suggest feeding her a small bland meal (boiled chicken and sweet potato) later today and then resuming her normal diet tomorrow. Dogs with parvo usually have both vomiting and severe diarrhea so I think it's unlikely this is what is going on with Nittany. However, if her vomiting persists or diarrhea, lethargy or inappetance develops then you should schedule a visit with a veterinarian.

I wouldn't put any flea medication on her until she sees your Vet. Since she is so young and is a cat we do not like them to not eat for more than 2-3 days. It is time to have her seen. Causes of not eating and vomiting in kittens are: intestinal parasites, viral or bacterial infections, feline leukemia or FIV, feline infectious peritonitis, ate something gross, ate something causing a blockage, food allergy or intolerance.
