My cat threw up after new dental treats. What can I give her?

Hello, cats in general do not drink much water, so I'm not surprised she didn't drink. Additionally, she seems to be eating and tolerating the bland diet nicely. Its likely that she had a sensitivity t the mackerel treat you offered her and this caused the vomiting. Continue to feed her the bland diet for another day or 2 then transition her back to her normal dry food. As long as her GI signs have resolved, then you do not need to do anything else about this. If her GI signs, reoccur, you will need to have your veterinarian evaluate her. Hope this helps and best of luck.

This new treat could be causing Beanz to have diarrhea. I'd stop giving him the treats, and I can give you a home remedy for his diarrhea. Withhold food for 12 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If the diarrhea continues on the bland diet, he vomits the bland diet, he refuses to eat the bland diet, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, he will need to see a vet right away. Oh no it's not good that Kitty ate that vomit! At most, I would expect that eating this vomit could cause some GI upset, causing her to vomit and/or have diarrhea. It's good that it doesn't look like she has eaten the plastic bag, and if she ate the bag, I would be concerned that the bag could cause a foreign body obstruction. A sudden change of food will cause GI upset in cats, which is what it sounds like is happening with Jericho. When you do a sudden change in food, it's recommended to do it slowly.
