My cat vomited worms and is dazed. Vet's closed. Will he be okay?

They may or may not be related to the deworming today, but either way they definitely roundworms! Call your vet to let them know what you saw. Chances are that the dewormer they used today will be enough to treat them. Make sure to repeat the deworming in 3-4 weeks to make sure the infection is completely taken care of!

I’m going to guess that this is a roundworm. It can be difficult to identify adult worms but it is usually much easier to identify eggs in a stool sample. I would recommend seeing your veterinarian for a stool analysis and to get the appropriate deworming medication.

It is rare for worms to kill a cat unless they cause a full obstruction of the bowel with severe, persistent vomiting or extreme weight loss. It would be important to deworm her within the next 48hours and to schedule an emergency vet assessment if she becomes weak

I suggest you get Milo to your vet for an exam, fecal testing and deworming. If a cat is vomiting up worms then there is probably a bad infestation. If he has roundworms he could have other types of worms too. The infestation can be so bad that he could get an intestinal obstruction which is certainly life threatening.
