What is this spot on my 10-week-old kitten's tummy? Is it serious?

It is possible that it could be ringworm but it could also be a bacterial skin infection or an allergic dermatitis. If her skin otherwise seems normal then you could try a spray, like Duoxo calm and see if that helps. If the lesion persists or worsens then she should be examined by a vet for treatment. Your vet can do a culture or cytology to help diagnose and then prescribe medications to treat.

Your kitten should see a vet ASAP in order to properly diagnose it. The picture is not very clear, but I see some crustiness and possibly some hair loss. I worry about ringworm (a skin fungus) with that type of lesion, because this is also a very common location for ringworm in kittens. It could also be some other infection or due to a scratch or bite. It is not normal though and to determine the cause, you would have to bring her into the vet for an exam. They can take a sample (if needed) and look at it under the microscope to find out what it is. For now, it's best to consider it contagious, because ringworm can be transmitted from cats to people. This is usually self-limiting (will go away on its own), but may need treatment if you start to see more lesions. You can wash it once a day with medicated shampoo labeled for cats (can be found at the pet store). This will help if it is an infection.

This can be a scab from scratching due to allergies or an injury or it can be ring worm. I would keep it clean with soap and water and wash your hands well after contact as ring worm can be contagious to people. I would have your vet check the area to see which is the cause as they have different treatments.

This could be an area of ringworm infection or alternatively an insect bite or bacterial infection. If it does not clear up in the next t 2-3 days or more lesions develop Dude needs to b examined by his veterinarian. In the meantime wash your hands thoroughly after handling Dude as some infections can be spread to humans.

Poor Mabel. This could be several different things like ringworm, a bacterial infection, a viral infection, mange, an immune reaction and more. I would have your vet take a look at her to see what it may be. They will be able to get her started on the proper meds to help it heal. They may also recommend to have her tested for feline leukemia and feline aids. If she is positive for one of these things, it is good to know. These are not something that she needs to be euthanized for but it is a good thing to know so you know to keep her indoors and away from other cats if possible. This is a test that your veterinarian can run easily. While the location in the ventral abdomen is not typical of ringworm in cats, this is certainly possible. One thing to point out is that usually ringworm does not cause itchiness in cats while hot spots or dermal infections tend to do. I recommend that you have her evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Your veterinarian can test to see if ringworm is possible.
