My cat is throwing up every day after I moved. What's wrong?

The possible causes of for vomiting are numerous. The fact that you recently moved (be in a month ago at this point) could play a role potentially as stress is a definite cause of GI upset in cats. Other causes can be dietary, gastroenteritis, pancreatitis, kidney / liver disease, allergies, foreign objects, and even cancer in some rarer cases in a young cat. Since there have only been episodes of vomiting total at this point, I wouldn't be particularly concerned as of yet. If you see this happening another couple of times over the next week, I think it is something worth investigating more. Hope this helps!

Poor Splash! This vomiting could be caused by a GI illness, eating something rotten, a foreign body, or pancreatitis. Given that he has been vomiting since Friday morning, it's time to see a vet as soon as possible. The vet can diagnose what is causing the vomiting so he can be treated . I would take Splash into a vet now.

It sounds as Bearhead is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet the first chance you get, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.

It's not uncommon for cats to vomit during travel. However with the vomiting continuing and the decrease in appetite I would be concerned this is more than car/motion sickness. Izzy should be seen by his veterinarian as he could have an infection, inflammation of his pancreas or liver, a parasite and/or even a foreign body causing his continued vomiting.

I recommend withholding food for 12-24 hours, then feeding a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, he vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, he will need to see a vet right away.

Given the move and the presence of the new cat, I would be inclined to think Simba is throwing up from stress. Given that there is another cat in the house, I would slowly introduce them to each other. Take Simba, and put him in his own room with his own food, water, and litter box. Keep the door closed, and for a few days, feed them both treats on other side of door so they associate each other's smell with a good experience. Then let the other cat in Simba's room while he is in a cat carrier. They can smell each other, but not be in contact. If either becomes upset or show signs of aggression, remove the second cat from the room, and try again later. Praise them when they interact appropriately. When they are interacting well with each other through the carrier, you can let Simba out of his room, and see how he interacts with the other cat. I would get a cat tree with lots of shelves to give the cats vertical space to get away from each other. I would keep Simba in his room when you go out until they are comfortable with each other.
