Pet's info: Cat | British Shorthair | Female | 42 lbs
I have a female cat and she is about 2 years old. About a month ago we noticed that her tummy was swollen and firm and she had put on a lot of weight so we took her to the vets who said that they think she's pregnant but if we wanted an answer then we'd have to pay £100 for a scan (but we couldn't afford it) so we said that we'd wait and see. That was a few weeks ago, now she has stopped putting on weight her tummy is still swollen, but she isn't showing any signs of the kittens coming, what now?

Hi, the abdomen could be just slightly swollen if having just one kitten, if this is the case, delivery might also be more difficult. Please feel free to repost the question with your cat picture and if you want can also type in Italian I will understand you . Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach !
