A few days ago, my cat has started squeaking/meowing at a very high pitch out of nowhere. He is still eating, drinking, using the litter box etc. He seems fine except for this odd squeak. Any idea what could be wrong? Should I take him into a local vet to be examined?

That is interesting! It could be a sign of pain, but without seeing Tuxedo in person, I can't say for certain. I think having him examined by a vet is a good idea, but it's not an emergency given that he is still eating, drinking, and using the litter box. It would be fine to have him seen by a vet on Monday or Tuesday.
