My cat's face is suddenly swollen, but she seems fine. What's wrong?

It is difficult to tell from the pictures, but it looks like the swelling is involving the lower lip. Anytime there is a significant change, I always think it's worth having your veterinarian examine it just to make sure it doesn't need treatment before getting worse. It sounds likely it is related to the extraction, most likely a tooth abscess or an infection that developed post surgery. you need to take her to your vet in order to get it checked and treated ASAP.

Oh my, poor Gus! His face is quite swollen, and it could be he has been injured or has a dental problem causing the swelling. I think he needs to see a vet immediately for this. Please take him into a vet now.

She is a cutie! This could be from an insect/spider bite that has cause a local infection/abscess which is why is has started to swell. This could potentially be a cancerous mass that has caused an inflammatory reaction as well. Since it has recently become swollen, I would strongly recommend for your vet to take a look at it. Your vet will be able to aspirate the mass or swelling if needed. They can even take X-rays if needed if they are concerned about sinus or honey involvement. They will also be able to start her on some antibiotics and an anti-inflammatory if needed. I hope this helps!

I cannot say what is causing his symptoms without seeing him in person, but I can say for sure he needs to see a vet now to diagnose what is causing it. Please take him into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies.
