my cat has been in and out of the vet the last couple days due to change in behaviour and has progressively gotten worse in the last 24 hours, he is currently struggling to breathe normally and drooling. It’s also very hard for him to stand and he will not eat or drink

Hello. I am so sorry for your concerns about Charlie. It sounds like he may have sustained some type of trauma, such as being hit by a car, or he has some kind of a respiratory infection. Regardless, this is not something that you can handle or treat at home. The sooner you can have Charlie seen by a veterinarian, the faster he will begin to feel better. I hope you can have him seen soon. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
