My cat stepped in nail polish. Is it toxic? How do I clean it?

The best thing to do is wipe away as much as you can with a dry cloth. It's likely that some will still be left on the pad, but this is not a concern for any toxic effects. Even if Theo happens to lick a little of the dried nail polish, this would not be enough to be toxic. Definitely avoid using any nail polish remover to get this out, because that can be toxic to the skin and if inhaled.
