Why is my indoor outdoor cat spraying urine standing up indoors?

This sounds more like territorial spraying (the tail action is indicative), it is more common in mutlicat or busy households and it can help to provide feliway diffusers and a calming supplement such as zylkene. Try washing down affected areas with biological laundry detergent and not bleach as this can encourage re-marking of areas

Some kittens do pee quite high. This can be normal. I would suggest getting a covered litterbox to help kitty keep the urine inside the litterbox. I would also suggest getting kitty spayed if not done so already in case she is really thinking about marking by peeing so high. Best of luck with your kitty moving forward. Take care : )

It can be a behavioral sign of stress or frustration. If he enjoys outside and is not getting to go outside, then this can definitely contribute to it and he is acting out. If there is another cat in his area outside that he sees it will also make him spray to mark his territory since he can't get to the area outside. You can let him out more, or try feliway plug ins and diffusers to help keep him calm. I would also get a urine sample checked to make sure the is no infection that is causing it.

It maybe a urinary infection. If this goes untreated it can lead to an obstruction and acute kidney failure. I would have your vet make sure there is no medical reason such as that causing it. If all is normal it is behavioral. Just because nothing new has happened inside, does not mean something new is not happening outside. There may a new cat or other animal that is stressing yours or scaring yours and you will have to look into identifying that and removing it

The brown liquid is actually normal and is just her marking. It would have nothing to do with the UTI. We more commonly see this behavior in intact males. If there is another cat in the house, then it would explain why she is marking. It's best to clean the area where she is marking with an odor neutralizer such as the one in this link: If the odor is still present, then she or other cats will continue to mark the area. If he is a tomcat, one of the best ways to control inappropriate urination is by having him neutered. Tomcats love to urinate all over everything as much as possible as a means of marking their territory. This sort of behavior usually ceases once the hormones are eliminated. Other things you can try is switching up the litter box or the type of litter, adding additional boxes, changing the amount of litter used, or any other variable thereof. Hope this helps.

Inappropriate urination is often a medical issue and possibilities include feline lower urinary tract disease, a urinary tract infection, urinary tract stones, among other possible medical reasons. Another possibility is that this is behavioral in nature. I recommend using a litter box if you have not tried that yet. I recommend that you have Minnu evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They would be able to check for these possibilities and treat accordingly.
