I have started my cat on gabapentin, been five days. Tigger has been spraying on my bed 7-8 times, not alot just a few drops no more than size of half dollar. We moved two mos ago and there has been a cat coming around house so thinking he is anxious/stressed. I put animal repellant around house and have Feliway plugin. Ive sprayed my bed with a product so he wouldnt do again but didnt work. He does not have a uti, i think its behavioral but dont know how to stop it!

I don't want to second guess your vet but I'm unsure why the gabapentin was prescribed. Did your vet think B is having anxiety? I don't think gabapentin would be my first choice for anxiety treatment. Maybe discuss with your vet as to why they prescribed this and what your other options may be. Have you had any major changes in the environment lately? Move? Got a new pet? Had a baby? etc?
I suggest you use some Feliway products and try some environmental enrichment. For the next week though I think you should put him in his own room if at all possible, alone (no other pets or people) with his own food, water and litter box so you can give him some space and decrease stress.

Hope this helps. If you have more questions you can always opt for a private consultation where we can chat back and forth. That way you can ask as many questions as you'd like. Best wishes.
